~Alumni Day & Old Huskies Game~
Attendance at the fall alumni games over the years has been exceptional, however I have been looking for a way we could seize upon that enthusiasm that would help the team during the season. After some discussion myself and Coach Scordato have come up with a spring 'Alumni Day' to be held on April 7th.
Alumni Day Schedule - April 7th 2012
4pm - 5pm - Old Huskies Game - Depot Field
5pm-6:45pm - Alumni Dinner/Drinks - TBD
7pm - UConn Men's Lacrosse vs. Northeastern - Depot Field
The Old Huskies games will be an Alumni vs. Alumni game. Odd years graduates will be on one team, and even year graduates on the other. The game will be two 30 minute running time halves. After the game we will meet at a TBD location for some food and drinks. To conclude the night the Men's Lacrosse team will face off against Northeastern at Depot Field. This is the first time we are trying something like this so it is my hope that we will get good numbers, and hopefully many sticking around for the game vs. Northeastern.
For those that haven't been there recently, Depot underwent a massive renovation, and is now an exceptional playing surface with lighting, spectator seating, public address, etc. Also, the club sport administration has asked me to remind all alumni that alcohol is not permitted at Depot Field.

All games this year will be at Depot Field, unless there is inclement weather in which case they will be moved to Sherman Field. The schedule will be updated to reflect this in the near future.
~St. Patrick's Day~
A side note - Myself, Ty Longland and Scott Aplegren will be at the Brown vs. Harvard game at Harvard Stadium this Saturday at 7pm. I have a limited number of free tix for this game so if anyone else is interested in meeting up with us feel free to let me know.
